Many horse farms prefer Wood Fencing over any vinyl or other synthetic fencing material. The horses like to chew on the fences sometimes and even when the home owners treat the fences to deter the horses chewing habits, the animals still find a way to munch on the boards at one time or another. This makes the upkeep of the wood planks a bit more extensive than if it was another material, but at least using a natural material like wood is a sure way to know the horses will not be getting sick from the process of them chewing.
