Kidney disease stages and your water intake

3:42 pm Health and Fitness

The first three chronic kidney disease stages can be determined very accurately. Stages four and five are very rare and there is still a lot of research in this area. The most common stage of kidney disease and kidney failure is stage three. Stage three means that your kidney damage is still not causing any irreversible body changes and kidney function can be almost completely restored if you adopt a proper diet. Limiting protein to a minimum is the first recommended step by doctors. Drinking a lot of water is also advisable, but make sure that you don’t drink too much, as this can create unnecessary pressure in the kidney cells.
